The following pre-connection and post-connection tests will need to be carried out before assets installed by an ICP can be adopted:
Additional pre-connection tests to be undertaken by both the ICP and UK Power Networks for High Voltage Contestable Works
Appropriate pressure test for high voltage equipment
Appropriate pressure test for high voltage cables
Sheath tests for high voltage cables
Primary & secondary injection testing to suit HV protection
Test Fault Passage Indicator operation where fitted
Scada tests
Additional post-connection tests to be undertaken by UK Power Networks for High Voltage Contestable Works:
Voltage checks and phase rotation checks on low voltage Transformer terminations
Phasing check with exiting low voltage network where possible
Scada operations and indications
