You are responsible for:

 BS 7671

  • Installing a Residual Current Device (RCD) and earth electrode installed to the current edition of BS 7671, the IEE Wiring Regulations. Temporary builder's connection installations do not comply with the bonding requirements of the Electricity Safety Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002, and therefore your supply will be a “TT” system. This means you may not use UK Power Networks' earth terminal

For stockist of these ducts and related products, please visit our website at www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk  and search 'Buying ducting'
  • Ensuring that the duct is only for the use of UK Power Networks' cables and should not terminate beneath driveways.
