4.1.5 The Point of Supply

Where UK Power Networks' equipment ends with a cut-out fuse, intake switch, switch fuse or circuit breaker that is owned by UK Power Networks, the supply terminals are the outgoing load side circuit terminals of that cut-out fuse, intake switch, switch fuse or circuit breaker unless otherwise specified by UK Power Networks.

Where UK Power Networks' equipment ends with its service cable terminated in a cut-out fuse, intake switch, switch fuse or circuit breaker that is not owned by UK Power Networks, the supply terminals are the incoming supply side circuit terminals of that cut-out fuse, intake switch, switch fuse or circuit breaker unless otherwise specified by UK Power Networks.

Electrical circuits and electric equipment may exist, between UK Power Networks' supply terminals and the point of metering of Your installation, which is not under the ownership of UK Power Networks, i.e. a landlord acting in the role of a licence exempt distributor and operating its own distribution network connected to UK Power Networks' distribution system. In such circumstances a cut-out fuse, intake switch, switch fuse or circuit breaker to which Your electricity meter is connected would not be under the ownership of UK Power Networks. Where Your connection is provided from the electric circuits and electric equipment of a licensed exempt distributor, You should independently ascertain the licence exempt distributor's terms and charges for connection and use of its electrical system which may be additional to those made by the Company.
